INTRO - We measure our success by how well we balance the needs of our Client with the personality of the Site and the requirements of the Community. Site analysis is a large portion of this effort. The following series of slides shows how the evolution of the design for Lot 1 has unfolded. The design responds well to the unique features of the site including the steep drop from the roadway and the unique shape of the building envelope. There is minimal site disturbance and the project seems to grow from the site rather than impose itself on the site. As you view the following slides carefully, you will see how this thorough approach to design addresses the following statements found in the Introduction to the Architectural and Development Standards for Warrior's Preserve:

"This new community is nestled into the native forest to blend into the mountain landscape, capturing views, responding to its topography and climate, and appearing to be an integral part of the land."

"The intent of these Standards is to provide for Residences and other Improvements to be created to enable occupants to enjoy the pleasures of a spectacular Colorado environment in homes that appear to be a natural extension of the landscape."
